Improved access appointments
For all patients registered in the Forest of Dean routine improved access appointments are available at local surgeries.
Appointment times
- Monday to Friday, 6:30pm-8pm
- Saturdays, 8:30am-12:30pm
Same day appointments Monday to Friday are also available for acute and urgent problems. The receptionist will advise if your health problem is suitable for one of these appointments. To book an appointment, please contact the surgery.

Out of hours there will be a recorded message on the surgery telephone number which will redirect you to the emergency services. This service is for urgent medical problems only. Out of hours cover is provided by NHS Gloucestershire between the hours of 6:30pm-8am on weekdays, all day on Saturdays, all day on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
