Practice Update 2/12/20

We implemented the econsult total triage system earlier in the year as required by NHSE. Although many of you love the online consulting system, we appreciate that it has caused unnecessary distress for some patients and we are aware of a reduction in patient satisfaction. We have listened to patient feedback and are in the process of changing our system again so that patients can telephone the surgery for an appointment without having to complete a lengthy online form. However, the eConsult option is still available for those who wish to use it and many patients find it useful for self-help and referral/signposting to the correct services, avoiding delays in waiting for an appointment with a GP when it is not necessary.
