Practice Changes due to Coronavirus
In response to the COVID 19 pandemic our appointment system has changed. We will not be offering any appointments to see a GP in the practice: all requests to see a GP will be given either a telephone or a video consultation appointment.
In addition our nurses, HCA’s and phlebotomist are restricted in the services they can offer. Some review appointments can be performed by a telephone or video consultation and an appointment can be made for this. However appointments that require attendance at the surgery will be booked for an initial telephone call on the day you wish to attend, at which time a mutually convenient appointment will be made for later in the day, no earlier than 9.30am.
The most common symptoms of coronavirus are recent onset of a new continuous cough and/or high temperature. If you have these symptoms, however mild, stay at home and do not leave your house for 7 days from when your symptoms started. You do not need to call NHS 111 to go into self-isolation. If your symptoms worsen during home isolation or are no better after 7 days, contact NHS 111 online (https://111.nhs.uk/ ) . If you have no internet access, you should call NHS 111. For a medical emergency dial 999.
With effect from Monday 23rd March, the Practice telephone lines will open at the later time of 8.30am and appointments will no longer be bookable before this time.
